Health(ier) Dessert Recipes (+ leg workout)

Mmm health(ier) desserts post leg day. Count me in!

But somebody needs to bake for me because baking is NOT my specialty lol.

Today was leg day at the gym but it was more of a hypertrophy over strength day, aiming for a big leg pump and burn! I stuck to machines because my leg workouts have been a lot of RDLs, sumo deads and other barbell stuff lately. Thought I'd change it up.

Here's what I did in case you want a workout you can follow pre dessert making 👇🏼

  1. Reverse Hack Squats (4 x 12-15) 
  2. Lying Leg Curls (3 x 10 + 10 drop set)
  3. Abduction Machine (3 x 25 + 25 drop set... ouch)
  4. Hip Thrust Machine (3 x 10 full ROM + 10 partial ROM + a drop set to failure on the last set)

  

And now what's better after a solid leg day than some healthy (healthier..) desserts!

Plus with the holidays approaching (kind of), these will be good to have on hand for you and your guests.
